If you have a four-wheel drive vehicle then you need to take it off road at some point and Monument Valley is the place. It was my chance to really have some fun since my wife didn’t want to come along. While driving around, or more like bumping up and down in what I would consider the most picturesque part of the SouthWest, I see a goat running toward my Jeep. I just had enough time to stop, reach over to the passenger seat to grab my camera, roll down my window, and hope to frame and capture it before it ran by. Although the goat was slightly out of focus I think I framed the shot OK.

Lessons learned:

1) Be ready at all times.

2) Think twice before you shoot. (You have no idea how must dust floated through that open window.)
