This was my first attempt at trying to capture a sunset. We had arrived at the beach late in the afternoon while on a driving tour. We decided to stay an hour to watch the setting sun. I tried to frame the image with surrounding foreground trees. One thing that I did not notice at the time was a pole standing up in the water in the lower right hand corner of the frame. Although it could be removed with post processing, I’m leaving it there as a reminder.
Lesson learned: Check the complete frame before pressing the shutter button.
This photograph is beautiful and breathtaking. I like the pole in the water. It adds an element of charm to the picture.
